Today is my 15th year Annie-versary. I had the pleasure of dropping by the Sonora PHI Air Medical base in Columbia, CA, to see the team, and Michele, the nurse, who took care of me on that day.
I appreciate all of those who were involved in my care. Without them, I would not be here today. I wish I could hug everyone and tell them how their role in my survival and recovery made a difference. I celebrated today with gratitude, a walk, a swim, and a massage. And, a little lemon ricotta cheesecake, too. 😉

I am working hard in vision therapy.
I think I am a fashion forward kinda gal with these large, thick prisms that shift images from the left to right visual field to help me “see” what I cannot see. It’s super weird and disorienting, but interesting.
It’s great to get back into therapies after being Shelter-In-Place, due to the pandemic.
